Axel slowly awoke and groaned as he stretched his arms up in the air. He turned and smiled,
“Hey Roxas-“ Axel stopped and found that Roxas no longer was in his bedroom. Panic flew across him and all of those horrible memories started to come rushing back to him.
Why would he take off again!?
Axel jumped out of his bed and ran downstairs, he heard his mother cooking in the kitchen and paid her no mind. He rushed past the kitchen and to the front door.
“Hahaha!” Axel stopped in his tracks and turned around. He waited for another noise.
“Here, why don’t you grab the plates.” His mother said.
Axel walked around the corner and found Roxas with his mother. They were cooking pancakes and Roxas, he was smiling, smiling a joyful smile. Roxas was grabbing the plates from the top shelf in the kitchen and was placing them down. Axel smirked, Roxas didn’t leave, he was still right here with him.
Axel slowly walked up to Roxas and helped him with the plates. Roxas turned to Axel and smiled, “You’re up.” Roxas stated as he got down.
“Yeah. . .”
“Oh good morning Axel.” His mother smiled at him.
“Morning. . .I didn’t know you guys knew each other.”
“No we don’t really know each other, but I could have known him better if my son didn’t keep him a secret from me.” His mother turned to Roxas and smiled, “One or two?”
“Two please.” He said as he held out his plate.
Axels’ mother placed two pancakes on Roxas’ plate before she turned to her son.
“You know I could have gotten to know him better if you only introduced us without you sneaking him in your bedroom at night.”
Axel lit up bright red and turned to avoid his mothers’ eyes.
“You thought I wouldn’t notice? I’m your mother, I notice everything.” She sighed, “I would have enjoyed to meet Roxas elsewhere then down my hallway at night.”
Axel turned to Roxas. “I had to get a glass of water.” Roxas said while looking up to Axel and hoping he wasn’t mad.
“Anyway though.” His mother turned to him and placed down at least 5 pancakes on his plate and politely handed it to him.
“I do approve of your boyfriend though.” Axel blushed brightly, sure his mother knew he was gay but how did she find out that Roxas was his boyfriend?
Roxas walked over to the dining room table and started to silently enjoy his food. He couldn’t remember the last time that someone actually cooked for him. Roxas enjoyed every bite and noticed that Axel had taken a seat and was staring at him wildly.
“What?”
“Enjoying it?” Axel smirked.
Roxas shook his head, “I never really had someone else cook for me.” Roxas stated as he took another bite.
Axel smiled, he missed Roxas’ joy and smile. It was something he looked forward to every single day.
“Axel, honey,” his mother appeared from the kitchen and looked at him sternly.
“Yes?”
“You’re band told me to tell you there was some changes and instead of the performance at 1 it’s now at 3.”
Axel sighed, he had completely forgotten about that.
“You have a band?” Roxas asked with fascination.
“Just a little thing.”
His mother scoffed and walked off back into the kitchen.
“So what do you play in the band? Or do you sing?”
“I-I sing.” Axel mumbled out, feeling a blush come up on his cheeks.
“That’s so cool!” Roxas said with a huge smile on his face.
“I hope I get to hear you sing!” Axel blushed brightly and turned to look at the table.
“Y-Yeah. . .”
BUZZ ZZZZ
Axel turned to Roxas and found him answering his cellphone.
“Hel-“ Roxas cut off by something on the other line.
“Roxas! Roxas! Roxas!”
“’What is it?” Roxas asked in a calm voice even though that was something he was not at that moment.
“Where are you?”
Roxas sighed, “I’m at a friends’ house.”
“Liar!” Demyx exclaimed in his cheerful voice.
“You’re with Axel aren’t you?”
Roxas froze up for a moment, “What is it you want Demyx?”

’Demyx!?’

Axel eyed him suspiciously than without even thinking he grabbed the phone from Roxas and put it up to his ear.
“Demyx?”
“Hi Axel!” Demyx squealed.
“You haven’t changed, have you?”
“Nope!”
Axel sighed and turned to view Roxas who slightly agitated.
“What is it you want with Roxas?”
“Hasn’t he told you? Roxas has been a bad boy.” Demyx giggled.
“What?”
“Turn on channel 9!” Demyx told him.
Axel walked over to the living room with Roxas following closely behind and grabbed the television remote. He turned on the tv and then did as Demyx said.
“In newer news, a break in happened last night at the national city’s bank. All we know right now is that these thieves were quick and knew what they were doing. They stole up to 6.3 million dollars last night and we have no idea of who these thieves could be. Here is one video we did receive.”
They played the clip and Axel watched closely.
The clip was slightly dark so you could only see figures, there was one in the bank then he started to shoot all of the camera’s as if he knew all of their secret hiding places.
Roxas held his breath and hoped to god that he wasn’t in the clip.
“Keep watching Axel.” Demyx said on the other line of the phone.
The clip than changed into the clip from the vault. There was one person who ran into there with no problem.
’Demyx.’ Roxas thought.
Then there strolled Roxas, his hood wasn’t covering his head so it showed his blonde hair, but thankfully they couldn’t see his face.
Axel still watched closely to the screen not taking his eyes off of it for a moment.
In the clip Roxas and Demyx than started to grab all of the money placing it in their bags. A couple of moments later Demyx turned to the blonde headed boy and said something then they walked off, getting out of the vault only to set the alarm off. The tape turned black.
“You think you’re little Roxy is so innocent anymore?” Demyx giggled on the other line.
Axel turned to Roxas.
“You did this??” Roxas stood silent and looked down to the ground.
That was all Axel had to know. Axel dropped Roxas’ phone and walked up to him and grabbed his arms, “ Roxas, why?”
“I-I had too.”
“You didn’t have too!”
Roxas felt tears swelling up in his eyes. “But. . .” Roxas started but burst out into crying, he hugged Axel tightly and they both slowly fell to the ground until they sat on their knees.  Axel stroked the blondes’ hair and tried to sooth him. Axel knew exactly what Roxas was talking about, that group, organization, pulled you in and once you were in you couldn’t really get out. It was a trap. Thankfully though Axel ran away from it all and started all over, he didn’t want anything to do with it once he saw their true side.
“I’m sorry Axel. I didn’t want to tell you, because, because I thought that you wouldn’t love me anymore.”
Axel was pained when he heard these words. He would never stop loving Roxas and he knew that but how much did Roxas know that?
“I will always love you, no matter what you do, or the choices you chose.”
Roxas looked up to Axel and smiled. Axel smiled back and kissed Roxas gently on the lips. He loved the taste of Roxas’ lips, so soft and smooth, so delicate.
Roxas pulled back from the kiss and winced at the pain of his arms and knees. Axel quickly took notice and grabbed Roxas hands’.
“Come.” Axel said as he dragged along Roxas to the upstairs bathroom. Roxas quickly grabbed his phone before letting himself being dragged along.
Axel made Roxas sit on the edge of the tub as he put on new bandages on his wounds and made sure they weren’t infected.
“Where did you really get these?” Axel asked as he wrapped up Roxas’ left knee.
“I-I. . .well after that video you saw, the alarm did really go off and an iron door was going to come crashing down and block our exit. Everyone got under except me. . .the door closed and I had to find another way out. I jumped through a window.” Axel looked up to Roxas and found the emptiness in Roxas’ eyes.
“Roxas?” Roxas snapped out of his empty phase and looked over to Axel with his eyes back to normal and found joy in them now.
“Why don’t you run away? They won’t stop you if you do.”
“But where would I go?”
“Here, stay here with me.” Axel told him.
“I-I can’t.”
“Why!?” Axel was shocked of Roxas’ answer, didn’t Roxas love him?
“Demyx. . .he has information I want to get.”
Axel looked at him in confusion.
“Demyx said that he knew you before and that he remember some things about me and you.”
Axel sat slightly amazed, Roxas wanted to stay to remember the past or the past they forgot.
“I’m coming back with you then.” Axel stated as he snapped out of his frozen state and wrapped Roxas right knee now.
“No, you shouldn’t.”
“If you’re going, I will too. I don’t want you to get hurt again like before.” He stated.
‘Axel. . .’
Axel finished wrapping up Roxas’ wounds and helped him up.
“Axel. . .why did you join the organization then leave?” Roxas asked as they walked into Axels’ room.
“I-I was a bad kid Roxas. I wanted to get into trouble, start things. I joined to do just that, meanwhile I also got into smoking while I was in the organization. I eventually realized that it was wrong and ran away.” He stated as he sat down on the bed.
“I’m sorry.” Roxas said.
“Why should you be sorry I’m the one that put myself into it!”
Roxas shook his head, “But I’m the one putting you back into it. . .”
“No don’t be sorry, it’s my decision.”
Roxas watched the television that was in Axel’s room and watched as the cops viewed the scene and Roxas wondered what would happen if he was caught. Sure he would give all the money back he stole if he was caught but would that be enough? And what if they wanted him to tell on the organization? Roxas sighed, either way he lost.

“We should be going.” Roxas snapped out of his thoughts and back into reality. Axel was grabbing something out of his closet at that moment and Roxas watched as he pulled out the same cloak as his. Roxas watched as Axel placed it on and Roxas gasped when he say it on. Axel looked so handsome and seeing the sight of him in the cloak made Roxas deeply blush.
“Did they give you a weapon yet? Or did you find one on your own?” Axel asked.
“Um. . .a weapon?”
“Yes. . .a weapon, like mine.”  Axel dug deep into his closet and then took out two huge metal rings that had spikes on them. They were painted red and had a little black and half of it was sliver. Roxas stepped closer to Axel and looked down to the weapon.
“Why would you need a weapon?”
“Well, not to hurt people. . .just to help the ‘missions’”. Roxas bent down and poked the metal weapon and nothing happened.
“What does it do?” he asked in fascination.
“I can’t really show you. I only use it in protection or if needed in any way.”
Roxas shook his head, he understood completely, these were weapons for protection, the defense position of a fight, not the offensive.
“BEBII BEBII ROO TENSHON na BEBII” Axel took out his cellphone and held it up to his ear, “Hello?”
“So Axel you’ve decided to come back.”
“Superior. . . ” Axel slightly trembled, the superior never interfered unless something big was happening or he found something of interest. He never liked to mingle with anyone except for Saix, but that was a whole other story that no one talked about because he forbid it.
“Yes, hello Axel. How have you been?”
Axel froze up. “F-Fine.” Was all he muttered.
“Well, my Axel, I’ve heard a great deal about you since you left.”
Axel stood silent, feeling as if no one could reach him now or give him back the courage he once had seconds ago.
“Axel, are you okay?” Roxas shook Axel slightly and Axel woke from his state and looked down to Roxas worried eyes.
At that moment,  Axels’ fears were replaced, replaced with the courage to talk without hesitation and to have a conversation for once with superior without freezing up.
“Is that so?” Axel asked in a cocky voice.
“Yes, so you’re now in school? That does not sound like my Axel.”
Axel shook his head, “Things change after time. People change.”
“Well I hope you haven’t changed too much.” the superior’s end of the phone went dead and Axel exhaled. He couldn’t believe that he had just talked to the Superior without being frightened and he talked with such courage and strength.
“Is everything alright?” Roxas asked and he grabbed Axels’ arm and clung to it like a sweet little boy.
“Yes, everything is fine.” Roxas smiled at Axel.
“That’s good!”
Axel smirked, “Yeah, it is.”

“Roxas you came back! I thought you were going to leave forever!” Demyx jumped onto Roxas and hugged him from behind, smothering in his love.
“I was only gone for a few hours.  . .” Roxas mumbled under his breath.
Axel grunted, for the first time in his life he felt territorial, like a dog or creature of some sort.
“Axel I missed you too!” Demyx then jumped onto Axel and at that moment almost all of the organization members got jealous.
Axel closed his eyes and tried to play it cool.
“Stupid, god damn organization. . .”
“Awww Axel you’re being mean again.” Demyx complained as he let go of Axel and took his position next to Xigabar and Luxord.
Axel turned to the side and looked at the ground. He didn’t give a care in the world of Demyx’ opinion, all he was here for was Roxas and that’s all he’ll stay for.
“Hey Roxas, we’re on another ‘mission’ tonight!” Demyx said as he smiled joyfully as if it was all a child’s game.
“Shouldn’t you wait until he heals?” Axel asked, taking his place right beside Roxas.
“Why would we wait? You feel fine, right Roxas?” Demyx looked over to Roxas and at that moment Roxas grew frightened. All those eyes staring down upon him, gazing at him with intensity.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Roxas lied. The truth was he was still in pain even right at this moment.
Axel quickly took notice to Roxas’ fake laugh and his fake smile. He knew when Roxas was truly not okay and this was one of those moments.
“Good! Then remember 11 tonight!”
Roxas shook his head and grabbed his arm, a surge of pain rushed through him and at that moment he realized these people, this organization was nothing like a normal group, they had some type of air around them that just tasted bad and Roxas knew that he was probably going to see more tonight then he ever has.

“Are you sure you’re up to this? We can turn around or-“
“I’m fine Axel, really.” Roxas smiled for Axel and tried to trick him but he knew that Axel saw right through it.
“There it is!” Demyx jumped up from his seat and pointed to the upcoming building.
“Were stealing from a furniture store?” Axel asked, being slightly shocked because they were people that stole from banks, not from some lousy store.
“Not just any furniture store! In ths furniture there is a vault with up to 7 million dollars! And while we’re here we do need some new furniture!”  Demyx jumped out of the van as they came to a stop and he skipped over to Xigabar who smiled brightly when he saw Demyx was heading his way.
Axel sighed and got out of the car as well, helping Roxas out.
“Stay by me.” Axel said in a whisper for only them to hear it.
Roxas shook his head and then turned to see Siax. He had only heard about him from Demyx but he seemed a lot scarier in real life. He had a huge X crossing his forehead and his blue hair shinned in the moonlight. He seemed like a person you shouldn’t mess with or even talk to.
Siax walked over towards Axel and Roxas, or at least it seemed that way to Roxas and he was slightly surprised that Siax just kept on walking.
“Axel. . .” Siax said as he seemed to acknowledge his exsistence.
“Siax.” Axel bowed his head slightly and then turned back to Roxas as Siax left to go in first.
“Roxas . . . “ Roxas started to walk off before Axel said anything, “Come on’ we’re going to be left behind.”
Axel smirked, Roxas was good at playing this game of being alright. Roxas was strong.
They walked into the building and found all different types of furniture, mostly couches though because they were on the first level of many.
Roxas inhaled then started to go to work. He grabbed his bag and went over to the first cash register and started to grab every ounce of money he found in the register. Axel watched in amazement, his sweet, innocent, little Roxas was stealing. And to give him something positive, Axel noticed he was good at it. When he first started to steal and run away he was pretty bad at it until Demyx taught him the main strings of things. Axel walked over to the register and noticed it was cleaned out dry and he slightly smirked, it reminded him everything of his past, his reckless days. But when he thought of Roxas being like him a frown replaced that smirk. He never wanted Roxas to be him. Roxas was a good, kind soul who was just pulled into a group of wrong people.
Axel sighed and grabbed Roxas’ hand that was trying to still rummage through the register.
“Roxas . . .” he whispered.
Roxas stopped and froze up, he knew exactly what Axel was thinking. This wasn’t something he truly wanted to do but he had to too survive.
“Roxas check the register up on the 3rd level in the left corner!” Luxord yelled as he ran up the broken escalator.
Roxas snapped out of his current state and shook his head, he let go of Axels’ hand and put the bag on his back and he started to run up the escalator as well.
Axel wanted to crumble up and die, Roxas was not the same as he use to be. Not at all.
